8-Day Accelerated Instrument Program

 

 

Our eight-day instrument program will teach you:

  • Basic Instrument flying
  • Improving Instrument control
  • Navigating on instruments
  • ATC procedures and communications
  • Emergency procedures
  • Weather briefings
  • Flight planning
  • Holding patterns
  • Instrument approaches
  • Instrument cross-country flying
  • Preparing for your Instrument checkride

Course Includes:

  • One instructor dedicated to you for your entire training
  • Cessna 172S rental (if needed)
  • Frasca 141 simulator
  • Cessna Computer-Based Instrument Instruction kit (includes all training materials)
  • Hotel stay
  • Car rental
  • FAA checkride

What will it take?

Prerequisites:

  • Current Instrument FAA written exam with passing score
  • Licensed Private Pilot with fifty hours of  Pilot in Command cross-country time

During Program:

  • Six to eight hours a day dedicated to your flight training

  • Preparing for your Private Pilot checkride.

Course Includes:

  • One instructor dedicated to you for your training
  • Cessna 172 rental
  • Cessna Computer-Based Private Pilot Instruction kit (includes all training materials)
  • David Clark H10-30 Headset

What will it take?

  • Flight physical completed within 2 weeks of training
  • Commit to 3 1/2 flight hours per week.
  • We'll take care of the rest!
