David was born in North Carolina and raised in Virginia.  He came to Michigan to work as a broadcaster and soon found  he wanted to pursue his life's dream. . . to be a top notch Flight Instructor and share his flying experience with others.  Dave is married to Betsy for 15 years  and has 2 girls, Katherine 6 and Sarah 9.  Although he works long days, Dave enjoys experimenting with solar power in his free time.
